Mauzuer Uzi? MP5 or M4? Research them both and decide for yourself.

you're gonna want an AEG to seriously compete. You can get by with a gas gun, but AEGs are the norm. If all you're doing is shooting in your back yard with your friends, then the gas guns will be fine, but if you're going to play in a serious game, then you'll pretty much need an AEG. As for your gun choice, that's up to you. Do some research on them and pick what you think will suit you best. If you're ging to play mostly in cqb, then an mp5 would be the perfect gun, if you're going for longer range woodland combat, then an mp5 would be ok, but the M4 ould suit you a little better. You should head over to www.airsoftohio.com and read the newbie FAQ by DumboRat, here's a direct link; www.airsoftohio.com/phpBB/newbie.phpThere is a lot of good information in it. Take 10-15 minutes to read through the entire thing, then startlooking at guns that you want. BTW, it makes it easier for us to understand your questions if we can read it, so take the extra time to proof read what you type so we avoid the junk posts asking what you meant when you say mpf or splrearge. Thanks, and welcome to the boards

Airtime,
Instead of just posting one message after another next time just use the "modify" button to edit your previous post and add any additional things you wanted to say there.

Like i said, go read the newbie FAQ, most questions are answered there. If you're playing in a wooded area, the m4 would probably suit you better, but that's really something you have to decide for yourself. are you good at sneaking around? Do you prefer increased mobility over longer range? Again, please go read the newbie FAQ at airsoft ohio, here's the link; www.airsoftohio.com/phpBB/newbie.php Other good laces to search are on the forums at www.airsoftohio.com and www.airsoftplayers.com if you haven't been to either forum, you should check them out, they have just as much, if not more information over there than we have here. You can also find SOME good information at www.airsoftzone.com , but they have gone way downhill and you'll have to sort through pages of garbage to find anything relevent. Just search around on these different forums and you'll pick up a lot of information. BTW, in the upper right hand corner of your posts, there is a button that says "modify". You can use that to add things to a previous post, rather than making mutliple successive posts, it makes for easier reading. There is also a search function on the top tool bar benethe your name and the date & time. You can find a lot of information using that rather than start a new thread that is almost identical to a previous thread. It also tends to go faster because you don't have to wait for responses.
