Maybe they are but I haven't had any issues with mine and I've had it for well over a year now.

I ment it as a question but simply forgot the question mark. I have no experience with them but I heard they just dont do the Dragunovs any justice. Thats all. Sorry ARC didnt mean to bash your rifle. With the wrap on there it looks gorgeous.

No offense taken man. As far as it not doing the Dragunov justice I completely agree with you on that. This was just my way of getting close to a Dragunov on the budget I had at the time.

I think the wrap is awesome. It hides the JG dragunovs' esthetic inaccuracies. Looks great.

Arc I applaud, that makes me want to buy another one (a real one...) What scope are you using and what did you use for the cheek rest?

So you just wrapped the Dragunov in burlap then? It doesn't look to bad.
I'm not too big of a fan of an AK with optics, for some reason I just like them plain and simple, no rails or any of that.

That cheek rest is actually a functional battery case I made so I can use a larger battery. I'm just using a typical 3-9X40 scope and yeah just plain burlap. Nice and simple.

New arrival today: Damn thing doesn't fit on an AKS-74U though, the rear iron site keep the Kobra from mounting far enough forward to lock.
