I think there is a thread someplace on MiA that talked about methods of removing the orange from gun tips. In that thread were several methods of getting the orange off. Some of them related to sanding and what kind of sand paper/abrasives to use. I'll see if I can't dig it up. Removing the paint with an abrasive will not make the slide weaker or more brittle, your just taking off paint for cripes sake (and maybe just a little bit of metal). <edit> The wisdom you seek!</edit> Mite

Sig doesn't really match the color of the silencer, the silencer is bright black while the Sig is dull light gray. Although very nice, no matter the color.

Yeah, although as stated before, the colors are kind of shown in an extreme form..the darks seem darker and the lights seem lighter.

I think the silencer makes the gun much more aesthetically pleasing, I never really liked the Sig 552, too short for my liking. That looks really nice.

At first glance the silencer looks too big for the gun but at second glance, it wears it very very well. Congrats.

I like silencers, add a very nice look to guns, in most cases. I have a TM pro silencer on my m4, took it off and but on my fps reducer, seems like a handgun to me now, so much shorter, and lighter.
