After seeing Camo Phreak's and Killerface's silencers I became intrigued and said "Hey, I could do that," Consider it an enlightenment gone bad. I give you one of the most billy-rigged silencers that you are likely to meet: Those who attended Op: Apocalypse, remember the antivirus hypodermics that we so affectionately called the "hot beef injection" I took a mini version of one of the cases of one and hacked off narrow end. Wrapping my spare flash hider in electrical tape I gave it a snug fit. Using more electric tape... I colored it black (I was out of spray paint). I slipped it effortlessly onto my sg1 and vwoi la (sp?)! I had a new silencer. ;D Gimme a break. I was curious and had some spare time. Sorry in advance for the low quality pictures

No offense, I'm sure you put some work into that but it looks like you taped a maglite to the end of your gun

I warned you It took me 10 minutes. I might end up hacking off the other end. I was just playin' around so don't worry about offending me. ;D I took the case of this thing ^ as the base for my suppressor, hence the odd shape.

The thought had crossed my mind since, as a supressor, it seems way to small for a big rifle. I'm unsure if I have the skills to do it. How would you go about putting the slits it?

if your really good with a dremmel, use that. It might take a while, but you could drawn on with a sharpe where you want the slits to be, and then slowly cut them out with an exacto knife.

It could work. I have a dremel drill but I'd have to get a really tiny bit. I'd probably spray paint t with matte grey or black.

or you could drill holes in it instead of slits.

I'll look for a depressor to model it after. Thanks for the input ;D Edit: I tried putting slits in the side but i just ended up with a really short silencer I ended up putting slits on the end and painted it. The edges are still rough but I'll sand them down later. Still just foolin around with ideas so it looks a little awkward and the slits are crooked

not to be an @ss - but or... You could just take it off because it is ruining the gun, in my opinion. It looks like you attached the tube of a maglite to the barrel thread. However, to each thier own. What ever floats that boat

I don't really like the way the flash hider is going. I kinda liked version 2 but I was just foolin' around with some ideas (reiterating). I'm in the market for a big flash hider or supressor so I was just tryin' stuff out. I'm not done with that flash hider though. When I'm done with it, it'll be widdled down to a nub!
