Nice Hado, i am just curious if this will turn out like your other M-4... anyway it is still nice.
As for the flash hider i think i had the exact same stuff on my M-4 from AEX, no that stuff doesn't come excpet with use and scratchs... as mike said you should probally just get a new flash hider, like me I have nothing else to say

Soak it in brake fluid for a week. The paint will come off no problem.

Warmonger, I believe most of the internal mechbox upgrades available on the market can be used with the ICS M4. Toothbrush, Haven't totally decided on how I'd like the gun to look. I know I'll be changing the foregrip as I can't stand how plasticy the stock ICS one looks. And Frostee...raw egg? Even if it does work I'm willing to bet the wifey's cats will get to it before it has any effects on the über orange.

Hado, does your new ICS m4 have 14 mm threads at the end of the barrel. If so, are they clockwise or anti-clockwise. I want to make sure, cuz theres nothing worse than buying a new silencer and flash hider and not be able to use it. I want the GP M4 KAC QD silencer with sr16 flash hider. Will it work???

Threads are the same as the ones on Marui AEG's. (14mm - ) I tried putting on my AUG's flash hider the other day and everything worked like a charm.

I'm not sure how I missed this thread, but anyhow;) Damn nice gun, I've been considering finding one of these and seeing how I like it. Though alas I have to many armalites already, perhaps the m16 will be moved to make room:)
Anyways it looks really really nice, I can't wait to see that at one of the upcoming ops.

ICS/Airsoft Elite is one of the less reputable AEG manufacturers. in terms of quality (for AEGs at least) the order is:
Tokyo Marui Classic Army ICS/Airsoft Elite
Until lately... where it seems that ICS has gotten themselves somewhat together and are 'reinventing' themselves....
Both CA and ICS are wildcards when it comes to AEG's however... You might get a diamond, you might get a lemon.
ICS mainly (again, up til recently) made MP5 types... They came in 3 versions...and only the version 3's are any good... steer far away from the V1s and V2s.
in the end, if you go for the reliable route, you're better off getting a TM...
But... i'm interested myself in seeing how this all turns out... Hado seems pleased with his... and he's far from a noob when it comes to guns and gear.
So whats the final verdict, Hado? would you recommend getting one to a new person?
