Actually from what I've heard, the quality on the VFC 74u is questionable and not worth the price. I can say, however, the Dboys 74u is solid as a rock.

Dboy's AK's are solid as fuck, CYMA AK's are not.

Anyone else feel as if this is extremely out dated? If you don't mind I'll write up some new paragraphs about the brands I'm familiar with. It may not agree with what you said 5 years ago though...

People are always into having some good factual info on here. While obviously some stuff is based on opinion, if you have information to share from first hand experience people will respect your effort. Sent from my SCH-I510 using proboards

Personally, I have owned a KWA M4 CQB (2gx Model) since last Christmas. Couldn't ask for anything more, it is a phenomenal gun from every aspect. Stock range, accuracy, rate of fire, and FPS are all superb. Going to the field? Simply throw in a 363mm Madbull tightbore barrel and you will achieve phenomenal accuracy at respectable field engagement distances. I would recommend it 100% to any player, veteran or novice. It is reliable, looks and feels nice, and performs. Buy a KWA!
