Well, my M14 showed up today about 5 minutes before I had to leave for work. I was able to get the orange flash-hider off and point it menacingly at my doors and windows before I had to scram. Enki, the serial is the same on mine. Also, They used a little glue on my orange flash hider, mine ain't coming off even though I left the o-ring off.

enkidu, woderful review. Thanks for the extensive pics and info. While the M-14 does look good your review has changed my mind on the "wood" version. I don't really like the apperence of the imitaion wood (at least from the pics) and with no real wood TM replaicment or me have the $$ to get a real wood stock for it I wouldn't get it personaly. Never the less a great review and thanks again for the info. But remember livonia, hating Jacko is hating airsoft. O SNAP!

A real wood stock will run you $20.

I recall hearing that in the M14 theroy thread but with school coming and most likely the lack of proper tools for the job I wound't be able to modify it for the airsoft version. Edit: Just thought I would add that to the best of my knowledge the SNs are NOT unique. I am basing this off of the AEX review and their pic. Edit 2: Just noticed Jacko already edited his post with the same info (Same SNs).

Well, I just ordered a stock and a GI issue sling, I'll let you know how hard it is, Toothbrush. If it's not that much work and you get one, maybe I can help you out and help you save a couple bucks.

Thank you very much Jacko. That sounds very interesting indeed and I am sure it will look great once you get it done. I was going to wait but since you brought it up I do have a TM M14 on the way, all be it the OD version. If the real stock conversion works out easily enough for you though I would be interested in taking you up on your offer.
Thanks.

There is a company that will make you one for 900~ bux and it uses an uzi mechbox (ew!) but probably now they will make one with the M14 mechbox. I don't remember which company it was, but I'll search around.

JAC a classic airsoft company (gas powered) made a BAR back in the early 90's I believe. They are really really really really really really really really really really really RARE. If you find one plan on spending at least a grand.
