Then it's gotta be a hop-up/inner barrel issue to my knowledge.

Any Idea as to how to fix it?

Take the hopup out and make sure it's working correctly. Make sure it's fitting into the body correctly.

To my knowledge we installed everything correctly. When I helped Switchblade put it together. For the hop up we used the original rubber hop up nubbin from the TM Hop up. Though there was a metal thing that looked like a new hop up piece but wasnt sure at the time. Should that be what was put in?

What's it look like?

The hopup appears to be working fine and fits into the body just fine. The metal peice believed to be the replacement hopup nubbin looks like the old one except its about twice as big and wont fit into the slot where the nubbin rests.

Metal for that matter, so maybe I am wrong. I just have no clue where else it would go. Next time we work on it I may be able to snap a picture of it.

I was wondering if anyone could offer some help/tips on how to install a CA m4a1 metal body (onto an AIM M4A1). The body nae might be wrong, but you all know what I'm talking about. Thanks

CA M15A4 metal body onto an AIM M4?
Well, you will have to: @ unscrew the handle (motor grip) @ take the motor out @ unscrew the 2 screws inside the handle @ take the handle off @ unscrew the mag catch's screw @ take off the mag catch @ pop the little pin above the trigger out @ take the gearbox out @ put the gearbox in the CA lower @ reassemble the lower (instal the magcatch, pin, motor grip, motor, ect) @ take the hop-up out of your AIM's upper reciever and install it into your CA's upper reciever @ (depends on the wiring, I am guessing since you said M4, that it's wired to the front) @ pull the hop up a bit out, and stick the wiring through the bottom of the upper (there is a seperate slot, under the inner barrel's hole) @ slide the upper reciever onto the lower, while pulling the wiring through. (The CA's body has no tabs, it slides over the gearbox.)
You may run into trouble with the Cocking Lever (located below the Carry Handle, and opens the ejection port, exposing the hop-up)
I could update with pictures if need be.

Wow, good thing I saw this, just in time to cancel my order of that G&P Seal Team metal reciever. Suppose I should've known I was getting what I paid for.

Does anybody hear know anything about the Hurricane Sig 552 bodies? Just wondering if they're worth their hefty price tag. Does the color match with the stock plastic ones? For how much they're charging, could they be CNCed? I think it would be rediculous to charge 190+ for cast potmetal.

They are very nice, look pretty much identical to the stock plastic bodies. I'm not sure if they are CNC'd, I only saw it installed. It did wonders for the stability of the gun though, made me wish I wouldn't have sold my 551 and put one of those bodies on that.
I'm guessing they cost near 200 because they just don't sell that many. There is really only the one AEG it can be used for (551 and 550 are kaput) unlike the 20+ different AR brands and variations.

Thanks, Ill probably look into getting one. Theres a creak in the body when you insert the mag that really bothers me. Im also a CA guy so plastic worries me a bit. Ive heard the sigs are really sturdy and solid so I guess Id get one for the feel and for less creak.
