If its worth it to Hado, then thats all that matters. he's found the price justifiable... And take note that they usually sell for around 600-650... If i had the cash around, i'd pick one up meself.

Gear is gear. Paraclete is top of the line. That it IS. I'm purchasing myself some when I start working for Triple Canopy. (thats 8 years away though) You know I think whatever you spend on, as far as gear, you should buy what you want. I mean I have like 5 different vests, including guarder's FAKE Delta style vest. Buy what you want.

I shall always look down on people who buy replica or imported tac gear, but for people trying to buy their gear with what they make working after school, I can intellectually see the appeal.

I myself am contemplating picking up around $200 worth of TT gear and maybe a G36c this summer depending on how much money I make. So what, if I can justify it and I'm happy with it, who cares? Hado likes his gear, not all of us can justify that kind of money for a vest, but he can, he's happy with it, that's all that matters.. Nice gear Hado, the joys of Paraclete gear

Guns, gear... its all part of our airsoft addiction. Some of us would prefer to invest thier $ into upgrading and accessorizing thier guns (which can often add up to $700+) while others geardos like myself would much rather be rolling around nekkid in a pile of smoke green or multicam cordura.
Paraclete gear might not fall into everyone's price range, heck if it wasn't for the Diamondback blowout sale it wouldn't have been in my price range either, but after admiring the vest for so long I thought it was one of those "now or never" moments.
That being said there are plenty of other gear makers with lower prices to fit your budget (BH Strike, TT, SOE...) and unlike Zorak I'd even recommend Guarder's lineup as I've been pleased with thier work so far.
As long as you're not sticking your pistol into some cheap $10 leapers thigh holster you're already on the right track.

Looks like you've got a good start on gear! One suggestion, unrelated to gear, in the picture with you aiming the M4, get that elbow down (your right elbow). A friend of mine refers to this as chicken wing, it's not good, especially in CQB where the guy behind you in your fireteam is likely to shoot your elbow with it hanging out there like that.

Thanks, and I'm looking into getting more gear. But first I need the weaponry to fill it . I am gonna get some different gear for different situations and weapons. About "Chicken winging", when my sister was taking the picture, I was readjusting myself and she caught me off guard. But thank you for that advice, I will put it to good use.

Hado purchased them from Diamondback Tactical. Not sure if they're still running it, but they had a Paraclete 'blow out' sale a while back. Yeah it's still running, looking at it...it's saving some major bucks.

Thanks, my gear is coming along, still many things to buy...
I love that dump pouch.
I've had it out a couple times so far (OP:Irene II being one of those). It is great. My mag change times have definitely gotten faster now that I can just drop my left arm to my side (or on my thigh if I take a knee on the right) and get rid of the empty mag.
It is well built, there is a "stiffening ring" around the top of the pouch that helps it maintain it's shape when it is empty. The elastic lips at the top entry work well to keep mags from coming out when you are on the run. I haven't had a mag come out yet even when running (even with the top flap cover open). The PALS webbing on the front and back is appreciated. I am planning on adding some single mag pouches to it.
The only problem is that with more than one mag in it, you make a ton of noise when running (due to the mags clanking together). I'm working on that by keeping a few shop rags in there that I can quickly interleave between the mags once the firefight is over.
Like I said, I love it.

I'm a big fan of mine too. The elastic lips do a really nice job of keeping the mags inside the pouch without making it difficult to stuff them in. It's only a temporary solution, however. Like Mite said, the loose mags will make a hellacious racket, so you have to stuff them back into your vest/rig whenever you have a chance. I'm thinking about getting a second, since i have a habit of keeping sunflower seeds in mine and that makes dumping mags difficult.

Hado, how are the knee(elbow) pads on the Crye stuff? Do they sit well or do they shift around?
