It doesn't adjust well at all, 90% of the time the actual chin part will be lopsided or some place goofy.
Absolutely right. On my old one, The closest it would get to being tightened right, is the left side at it's most loose, the right side at the tightest, and even then, it wasn't right. I'm in the process of taking my old chinstrap from BCT and putting it on, it's just a matter of motivation.
Edit. Just put my ACH/MICH chinstrap on, and it fits perfect.
After wearing the ACH for a year in Iraq, I hated it. Granted the design is nice, but I had one of the originals and the suspension BLEW! Maybe if they came up with suspension that didn't come loose so easily or sit awkwardly I would've been happier.
