Picked one of these babies up on eBay - really sweet with tons of pockets and useful features (including a hood for cover while sniping and a large inside pocket across the back that adds some "BB wound" coverage). I kinda' like the camo pattern, but to each his own. Here's a link to an online retailer that has a pic up, and actually a better price than I paid (ugh.........), in case anyone's interested. www.wephaus.com/swiss_field_uniforms.htmlGerman flectarn's cool stuff too!

mmMMmm Swiss Alpenflague! I love it, it would work SO good now with all the fallen leaves on the ground. The Sportsmans Guide is selling a sweet set, for $15 dollars or so you can get the same jacket Mr Jackstraw has, with pants and a backpack. All yummy Alpenflague camo!. hmmmmm *me strokes beard*...possible B-day present for Hado?...YES INDEED!

I think most of the pics make the camo seem really bright. But....after finding some Swiss commando pictures the camo looks a lot different. methinks the pic will make Newman happy

Yeah the pics made the Swiss stuff look bright, and you are correct, I got it for Fall & Spring due to coloration & weight. It'll also be my sniper apparel too, since I'll be laying amongst leaves from time to time. Using German Flectarn for month's with more live foliage, depending on my role of course.

Newman u stick u. That guy isn’t fat, he has a crap load of gear on, prolly some ballistic armor as well. Anything wider then a flagpole is fat to you isn’t it? Is it just me or does this guy’s suppressor totally look beefier and better then on yer sd6ers out there?

Teeheehee at "Anything wider then a flagpole is fat to you isn’t it?". ;D Oh wells, I am really skinny, but it works when I had to hide behind a one-foot wide tree! Yeah, the suppressor doesn't look the same as mine. That's a MP5SD3 by the way, I haven't heard anything different about the silencers on the SD2 or SD3 compared to the SD5 or SD6, but who knows?

Guys, Alpenflague is that bright! It almost looks like a painters cloth. That camo the guy in that picture is wearing is not Alpenflague, but looks like the swiss versions of woodland.

Aye, that does look a bit beefier doesn't it? Maybe it's just the angle or something. *shrugs*
Speaking of SD3's...I wish I had one of those over my SD6, the selector switch on the right hand side always pokes me when I switch to full auto.
*whine whine whine*

same with me d'oh! I'm really scared if it breaks off or something, there're some really scary stories about how ICS or AE or whoever you buy it from says it's not covered in the warranty, and it's kinda unfixable or something. *shudder* Don't want that happening to me. *shudder*

Newman - if you promise to provide suppressing fire, you can hide behind me ;D I'm the victim of 3 kids and a desk job - not fat, just "beefy" - yeah, yeah that's it. I've rationalized my latest gun purchases/trades with the idea that my few extra lbs. dictates the need for high ROF and fps, or the need for a very accurate, decent fps sniper rifle, or both.
