The friendly neighborhood UPS man just dropped off my German snow camo poncho and so right away I sent Ballista out into the freezing cold to take a couple pictures so I could see how well it works. Not bad at all, for $4+ change it's actually great. We REALLY need another winter game now. MUHHAHAA!

Very nice Hado! Now you are invisible in snow as well as in the woods with your other camo. At least you have some snow where you are, I still see grass when I look outside I'm interested to know where you got that poncho for that price too, I've been watching them on ebay and they go for $16 plus usually.

Snow everywhere! Got the poncho over at Bargain Outfitters, they've got a lot of great surplus clothing with some really low prices. It's pretty much like Sportsmans Guide, perhaps even the same company.

too bad you will be a big invisible object except the gun outline in black... Id try to find something white to put over some of the gun if you were going to play with it. Just my camo opinion tho.
maybe ill just use a bedsheet and pretend its "camo"...

Thanks for the links. That first place has the 2 pc. snow camo suit I wanted, but its way overpriced. Sportsmans Guide has the same thing for $20 less, and my snow poncho was under $5. They have plain white Norwegian 2 pc. snow camo suits too for $14 (I think), but I liked the look of the German ones better. Really just wanted to see what the quality was like and if it would be worth shelling out the $39 for a complete 2 pc. set. If Ballista would get off his lazy ass I could actually try it out in a small little game. Bah!

If I remember right, a goverment has to authorize a company to reproduce and sell issued camo patterns (why you have such a hard time finding dutch camo). So unless the germans like to have other people produce knock-offs of thier gear, then I would guess it's military issue( and we all know that Germans are quality freaks).
