People Seeking Footwear Look
Its one thing to have an M16, it’s another to have an M16 and full combat gear. The whole mood of an airsoft skirmish can be determined by what everyone wears, it makes it just that more realistic. Now while others might say combat gear is not needed, spend your money on upgrading your gun! I say that for people to fully enjoy the sport of airsoft you must look the part. Its one thing to be shooting kids in t-shirts and blue jeans in the woods and another shooting commands in fatigues and combat boots! Just set a whole new feeling.
One piece of gear I highly recommend is the combat boot. While tennis will do just fine they don’t exactly match your woodland camo or what ever style you have or want to get. Often though the boots can be the toughest part of a get up. Real authentic military combat boots can cost $70.00 + You can get a good pair of hunting boots for around 30ish and they look somewhat like a combat boot, much better then tennies, in fact that’s the rout I am currently in.
Hadoken showed me to the Bargain Outfitters website today when I saw these boots. Pretty much identical to a real authentic combat boot. And from the description are built to last! And hell, 10 bucks! Why not try them? This could be a good problem solver for those of you just starting on your gear.

Hey, I actually own a pair of both of those. The first ones are ok, not quite as tall as I would like them, but pretty comfortable. VERY light (not sure if its because they are cheap, or because they are supposed to be that way)
The second pair is standard US Jungle Boots, they are pretty good, but you MUST purchase a good pair of insoles because they dont come with any.

Check out Galls, just saw some nice boots there for a decent price. Though when it comes to footwear you should probably spend a little extra, afterall you'll be playing in them all day. They need to be as comfortable as can be. When at Galls, order a catalog, they've got some wunderbar gear too. (its free)

Thanks Viking... I still really like my tennies I think I'll go back to Dunhams some time and see if I can get the boots I looked at last time.
