I had good experience with the UTG tri shot. It was a lot of fun popping off three shots at a time, and the shell system was fun to use, a nice change from the usual. It was pretty dang accurate with .2s and .23s, as well as reliable considering it was $45. With some extra shells and a shell holder you can have a fun time on the field. I used this in an outdoor game and still was able to compete.

Iv shot the same gun stated above. It's pretty nice as stated, accurate for Atleast one bb to about 50-75ft. Easy man sized Target at that range though. And the shells are cheap and very easy to hold many at a time. It felt solid and definitely worth the money, 45-60$. I'm thinking about getting one for cqb games.

As far as Tri shot shot guns go they are all the same internally. It comes down to what external features you are looking for. The M3 Super 90 style comes in four flavors from clone companies. If it is marked UTG, DE (Double Eagle), or TSD it's the same thing. Tokyo Marui made the original tri shot. They shoot a little further and a little more accurately but cost nearly three times what the clones do. This is a rare case where buying the clone is advised. M3 Super 90 models: M3L - Full length outer barrel, full stock. M3S - Short outer barrel, full stock. M3P - Short outer barrel, pistol grip, no stock. M3R - Short outer barrel, retractable stock. There is also the TSD M1014. Recently I've heard it's hard to find. Lastly there is the TM SPAS 12 which is expensive and somewhat difficult to find. Out of all the models listed I would suggest either the TSD M1014 (if you can find one in stock) or the M3R Super 90. The retractable stock and short outer barrel on the M3R come in handy for CQB.

Those UTG tri shots are the only thing that UTG makes that I will endorse. You can't beat the price and they perform well for what you need them to do.

If for some reason it breaks on you, you have not exactly lost a ton of money. Just buy another one. But they don't exactly break easy, or at least mine didn't. I banged that thing around, used it in the down pour ran, and it still ran smooth. Now its Maverick's turn to enjoy it.

I definitely like M3R, could someone shoot me a link? Evike has some selling for $45 as well as extra shells and shell holders. You can easily make an order over $100 with all shotgun stuff, and get the free shipping.

I've got a TM SPAS 12, and have had it for about 5 years now. Let me tell you, it's pretty beat up, but I love that thing to death and is still performing like the day I bought it.

This will definitely be my next purchase after upgrading my AEG! Are there any upgrades I can get for this gun? Internally and externally, like flashlights, lasers, springs, etc, etc.

If you're replying to my post about the TM, then have a look at the thread I made which is entitled something like TM SPAS 12 upgrades. It should still be relatively close to the top in the arsenal section under spring guns. They are pretty much unupgradable unless you do some serious searching, and shell out a pretty good amount of cash for parts and overseas shipping.

I was actually talking about M3R. I also plan on buying a sling shell holder and an extra set of shells. Can you think of anything else I should get with this?
Quick question: If I pump the shotgun multiple times before firing when I pull the trigger will I get 6, 9, 12, etc, number of shots off like a normal shotgun?

Don't do that....it could break the gun, and the bbs won't go far at all. Just stick with 3.

My advice, don't upgrade it. It should perform just fine in stock form.
