I don't get why virus(plural?) makers have it so your computer won't run. Your computer must be on to harves data or and spam.

For a new laptop, stay away from HP Pavillions, the chargers break (80$ a piece) and the batteries fry fast as well.

In terms of a new computer, what i'd do is get a small netbook or something for school work, and then a cheap desktop for games. The desktop I have is this : http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/....9367&CatId=4928

The computer itself is very nice from looks, rather small at maybe a foot and a half to two feet in length and just over a foot tall, and it has room to upgrade the ram another 4 gb which should be more than enough for most games I know of.
