I was only suggesting to bring pop for the cans. If I really feel that I need to hydrate, I drink water, or gatorade. Gatorade usually only if I'm playing airsoft.
As X has started, I feel that pop will keep you hydrated, but I do agree that it does not quench my thirst.

You can find a dozen studies that will point you in either direction but most will say that water is better.
Then again, riders in the Tour De France used to smoke a cig before a hill climb because studies showed it opened up your lungs to improve performance.

lolwut? That just sounds like a bad idea.
I still need to head to Dunhams to buy some plinker ammo. I wish I would have ordered beforehand and not put it off. Its too late to wait for shipping now.

I need to find the 2 boxes I have for my 7mil annnnd probably buy 4-6 more Looking forward to seeing everyone Sunday. I am going to be bringing two of my friends with me I believe who have 0 experience behind any guns, (carpooling) hope that's okay with everyone thought this would be a good chance for them to see a lot of things.

This may not be the best place to introduce them to guns, since there is no range officer/real regulations, but if you let everyone there know who they are, and stress proper trigger/muzzle control I'm sure it will work out fine. Just make sure to keep and eye on them, and be overly nitpicky about anything they do wrong. I'm not saying they are idiots or can't be trusted, obviously you feel comfortable with them around guns, I just don't want to see anyone injured/killed.

Oh yeah, I agree and totally understand. They will be good around everything I'm sure. If I thought it would be even the slightest problem I wouldn't have invited them out to this specific meet, and I would have worked with them 1:1 at the range instead before attending. I don't know how much shooting they're actually going to want to do either. I understand the concern though, it's hard when you don't know the newbies especially in the setting we're going to. I can vouch for them 1000% though. As long as everyone else is comfortable with that situation.
