Title says it all. We tried to check it out last term, but I think customs seized some of their stuff. Regardless, they are now open! One of our Kettering Airsoft guys was the very first customer! The staff there are super friendly, and I believe they are (please correct me if I am wrong!!!!) Marine Reserves? They really seemed to know their stuff and knew the quality of their products. Here is their site www.redgrin.com/. From what I read on their display window, they are also opening up another location (near Flint?) with a legit firing range. Also, if you want something and don't see it in the store, they will order it and give you a 5% discount. I encourage everyone to check them out and help get them involved in our community. When I talked with them, they had not visited any Michigan sites yet and were still becoming acquainted with the area. I tried to direct them to the site here, so maybe we will see them around sometime soon! P.S. Mods, if this should have gone in the retailer / review section, sorry, I was not sure!

Their prices definitely seem competitive, and it's certainly nice to see another in state airsoft store. I'll definitely be checking out their store in the future!

I heard about them forever ago and then they never opened (I think they got deployed?). I'm pumped though because that's 5 miles from my house.

Even though their price is a bit more than other retailers but I will still support them just because of their service to the country. Will check them out the first chance I'll have.

Looks pretty cool. If it wasn't so far away, I'd check it out.

Another thing that made me instantly love this store, there is a small sign inside that states "Please do not un-holster personal firearms."

Too bad they didn't open up in Ann Arbor. As much as I hate to say it, I agree with you Troub.

A location in Bay City would be cool, but me and some friends will probably check them out soon!

Hmm. Might just have to take a road trip out and check them out. it is indeed nice to see another (semi) local retailer pop up in the central area.

Hello all - Wladimir from RedGrin here. I'll try to get more of our guys involved but times are a bit crazy for us right now - getting ready for our second store and new field opening, customers, family, Corps/duties etc etc. In time we'll definitely be more active around here and keep you guys/gals up to date on happenings.
Asides from the busy schedule, we're a bunch of vets who tend to keep a fairly low profile - so excuse the silence if we haven't been around in a while to answer questions etc.
I also do not like to "spam" resources such as MIA but I do have to clarify what RedGrin is: we are not your traditional Airsoft dealer - Airsoft to us is a tool we use in our core competencies which is Law Enforcement/Military training and specialty services (see our "About Us" section on our site). This means that we only carry products that will absolutely last through abuse, over and again. With that said, you will not find many bargain deals or "cheap" aisoft as found elsewhere. So if I don't think it can't do the job I need it to do, it will not be in our store(s) or websites. This does not mean that we can't get your average clone - we can certainly order it if you really must have it, but don't expect to see it on our shelves readily available. That's all.
Here are some other questions sent over our way in regards to our training facility (field) and ranges:
Q: Will your field be accessible to everyone? A: No, you must be at least 18 years old or accompanied by a responsible adult (or have applicable waivers signed) - and only part of our facilities are open to the general public during specified hours. This is mainly because of our operations and training schedule and because our training facilities have live fire capabilities a.k.a. real guns, real bullets etc etc etc. and we have to take all possible safety precautions. Because of this, anyone kicked out once for whatever reason is considered a trespasser.
Times and availability will be posted on our site and are only available on a reservation basis.
Q; What is your field like? A: it is a small town on a 3sq mile secured and monitored property, right now only consisting of 6 buildings, roads, bunkers etc - available for different simulations.
I'm missing a few Q&A's but that's all that pops into my head right now - if there are other questions, please post.
Well, that's a bit about us.

Welcome Warpig. And your field, it is relevant to my interests. I hope to be able to come shoot plastic at it at some point. (FYI, I have a pretty good Haj loadout started, IF you ever need an extra roleplayer, I'd be willing to make the drive.)
