So, lately I have been running into ammo issues, and need to increase the amount of mags I carry. I currently have 5 mags, 2 in a double configuration on my gun, and three on my vest. I had to use 3 of these "type" pouches to hold them (http://www.ebairsoft.com/molle-magazine-pouch-p-2473.html). I would like to carry more mags, but there is little or no space left on my LBV. I can maybe sacrifice a pouch, leaving me with two seperate 4 x 4 molle grids, 3 of which current;y have the aforementioned pouches. What I'm looking for is a way to store more G36 mags without becoming to bulky. Carrying a few large pouches seems unrealistic and inefficient, , but I might be willing to do if it appears reasonable. My best case scenario would be to find a pouch such as (http://www.ebairsoft.com/triple-wedge-pouch-p-3651.html) that is 4 molle straps wide, can fit G36 mags, and I can mount my current pouches onto the front of. Does anybody know if such a thing exists? Oh, also I'm willing to shear off those annoying G36 mag connector tabs as well for more space. P.S. Does anyone have experience with these? shop.ehobbyasia.com/tmc-molle-universal-open-top-hard-big-pouch-olive-drab.htmlThey look promising!

When I used to run with my G36 mags a lot, I took all the tabs off the tabs off the sides of the mags. I never used them and they got in the way. By doing that I could easily fit two in a triple stack M4 pouch.

Depending on the color and how much you really want to spend on *just* pouches, Tactical Tailor makes G36 mag pouches. They'll hold 2 mags each, but are $35 a pop and only come in MC, CB and OD. If you dont mind spending the extra money for the pouches TT wont let you down, I have one of their First Responder Bags that I use for work and its been through quite a lot and still looks like new minus some minor fraying on the molle loops. Link: www.tacticaltailor.com/g36doublemagpouch.aspxIn terms of gear, you get what you pay for. Pantac and Flyye are also good companies to look at as they are the high end replica companies but Im not sure if they make a copy of the Tac Tailor G36 pouch...or any TT pouch in general (?). From what Ive read of the TMC brand its either hit or miss in terms of the quality of the gear, but its your money man. Hope it helps. Edit: At second glance, TT also makes a semi cheap Universal Mag pouch. Still only holds two mags, but another option. Link 2: www.tacticaltailor.com/universalmagpouch.aspx

Okay, so this is a continuation of this thread, but in a different aspect: miairsoft.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=gear&action=display&thread=37215Basically i needed to carry more mags, so I'm getting some double G36 pouches. However now, the G36 double-mag pins are notoriously flimsy and very easy to beak. I'm seriously considering just bonding all of my G36 mags (soon to be 10 midcaps total) together into 5 doubled sets. I would like to "stick" them together better than the clips allow, and remove the outer clips once I have them doubled up. So far I'm looking at connecting them whilst applying a strong epoxy, and then binding them together with some sort of tape, nylon straps, or camo wrap. Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with this that could provide me some good direction? Any solid ways of binding such mags together beyond epoxy and tape would be fantastic.
