I now what you mean at one time I had a fat bank account then I came across airsoft. I have to check to make sure I have enough money in it to cover bills now.

You guys have some awesome gear I need to start buying gear now.

I suppose it's not a problem of having the money *pompous alert* but rather parting with it ;) Since I just made a special payment on my CC for the pouches it softened the blow, albeit lightly. I could've however, bought half now and half later, but by the time I wait for the original pouches, I more or less would've changed my mind with what I wanted.

The cloth tied to your k-pot is commonly called DRAGON HAIR.You can use old bdu or camo material. You tie it to the netting. The ide is it changes the shape of the helmet.Distorts the shape so it appearance is not that of a helmet (more like a bush)When i was in the Army (92-95) my duty station was Hawaii(Schofiled Barracks)
Home of the 25th Infantry Division(light). The Dragon hair was division policy and had to be done.Grunts got
creative with it.Fashioning dredlocks on it and what not.
Im not sure when that idea started but i will research it

Excellent input, now I don't have to sound like a jackass when I try and describe what it is- I'll just look like one with a mess of burlap on his head ;)

Yeah, I know. I've been bugging my brother over in the land of Oz to send me a bush hat along with a slightly less faded set of BDU's.

yar!@his slow ways.

A biggah knahhfe would be a fair dinkum beauty mate!
Now If only I had Frostee's wild animal taming powers I'd be set!

for a closer up pic of my STRIKE LBE, all $300 of it.

It (the pouches) finally came today, after the smallest and cheapest pouch I ordered (the knife pouch) was on backorder for the past month seemingly.

Again, the only bad thing is that it's too big as well as the radio pouch is "off color" from the rest (it being a sage green color as opposed to OD) though, not really bad.
