Sadly, no, there are no fields in Ypsi or Ann Arbor. The closest public field is No Limits in Taylor. My team, the Hellfish, hold games there about once a month in the summer. We have one coming up on the 23rd that you can sign up for in the event section. Lazarus Division has a private field in Canton that they sometimes have games at. I've been meaning to give them a call to see if they're doing anything this summer anyway. Hopefully Arguablycrassic or one of their other guys can pop in here.
Otherwise, there's nothing closer than those two. That said, if you're playing in woods that you don't own and don't have permission from the owner to use, you need to stop. It's almost always illegal and always very dangerous to play in city or state owned land, and definitely illegal to do it on private property that you don't own. Remember, you're running around with what looks like a real gun. It's very easy for a passerby to mistake it for the real thing and call the police on you.

There is also a field about 15 min north of Ann Arbor. It is called Futureball and is a very nice facility. They hold paintball games there, too. Last month, the Airsoft of Kalamazoo held an event there and over 100 people showed up.

My buddy hosts private games throughout the year in Canton. If you stick around MiA for awhile and aren't lame you could possibly come play out there. I will PM you are field forum info.
You should look over all the stickies here on MiA in regards to airsoft and safety laws. If you are playing on property you don't have permission to I strongly urge you to stop immediately
In the meantime just hang on MiA awhile get to know everyone and watch for games to pop up in the events section.
