Hi my name is Traci and I am looking for a team to join in the Oakland county area or the out area of Oakland county. I have about 3 months experience I have woodland BDU'S, I have a AK47 aeg and 9m tactical pistol. I am a girl, do not mind playing with gays. Welcome to the boards. I don't know the Oakland County area very well, but I believe the closest joints to you are Eastside Airsoft and Phoenix Tactical. There are occasional games out of Farmington, as well. If you don't mind the drive south, The Hellfish run games out of Taylor during the warmer months. We should have our first one set up in April some time.
All of the public events in the state are listed in the Events section. Getting out to some games in your area is probably the best way to meet people and eventually get on a team. You want to make sure that you get to know the people you'll be playing with before you commit to them. And honestly, you probably want to stay away from any team that would recruit you before they've played with you a few times. They're more concerned with numbers than they are with functioning as a team and enjoying each others' company.

Knief is right about that unfortunately, Oakland county seems to be a relatively "dead zone" when it comes to Airsoft, in that there is not a whole lot going on, and it seems almost impossible to get people from the area together. If I were you, I would take a drive out to one of the places that Knief mentioned and go from there. I try to get out to Eastside at least once a week. But other than that there is not a ton going on over in Oakland county.
