Has anyone shot that PRVI ammo, that wideners.com has for one of their.45 ammo selection? That is the only ammo, on their site, that is cheaper than what I pay for Winchester ammo, at Walmart. It is a little less than $3 cheaper, per 100 rounds.
Edit: Crap, I didn't figure in shipping. We would have to do a group order, in order for me to hope to get it cheaper.

I like the weekday idea myself, same reason as Tank, usually fiance makes plans for us all weekend. Might still be a long drive for me, coming from Clintion Township but it is closer than my house.
What Wal-Mart do you buy ammo from Tank? I only recall seeing guns and ammo at the Houghton Lake store but no locations around here, that might be because my fiance usually dodges the hunting/sporting goods section as much as possible when we go..because she doesn't want to tempt herself or I to purchase anything for hunting.. Everyone always looks at me funny when I tell them she bought me my R700 from Wal-Mart. Houghton Lake location had a really good deal, and we were hunting the next day, worked out. I think it was a pretty awesome birthday/Christmas gift. Now to convince her to get more.."pretty awesome birthday/Christmas gifts", or at least let me get them for myself.

I'm kind if reluctant to say, since it is the only one I have ever seen have my ammo in stock! I've been there on four occasions, and every time, they have my ammo. Every other Walmart I've been to, I've never once seen my ammo in stock.
I hear you on the cool present from the fiance. My wife let me pick up my Ruger 10/22, as a birthday gift on a whim. I still need to post pics of it. It came with the bipod and scope, that you will see in the pictures, when I finally take them. We were passing through a gun store up North when it caught my eye.

Not a problem I understand, I was just curious as I had no idea of them down here stocked ammo period, just surprised me is all. I'll probably order online if anything, and I think the K-Mart across the street from my house sells ammo if i need it quick, if not outrageously overpriced Michi-Gun is right down the road, and Brown Bear is near my fiances dad's place, I've got some places I can go in a pinch.
Congrats on the 10/22 never used one but they look really nice. Love to see pictures sometimes.

Yeah, sorry, I'm not trying to be an ass, but ammo is getting more and more ridiculous to find, at any reasonable rate, short of buying enough to arm a small army at an online store. So I'm going to be holding this goldmine pretty close to the chest.

Eh? You're getting Winchester .45 cheaper locally than at Wideners? Are you sure about that. The other day I saw .45ACP at Wideners at $0.33/round, while at Dunhams it was over $0.60 a round.
