hello mia from toledo. there are a couple of teams in toledo wanting to come up and check out some of the alsome things that you guys ( and girls I have nothing else to say) are doing there. we have seen two feilds, the farmington and the warren cqbs. i wanted to see about getting something together on 3/18 but want to find out what feild is better in your opinion. would like to rate things on player attendece, size of feild, fun of game play, and anything i might have forgot to list. hope to hear some good stuff and cant wait to play. thanks

Personally I don't really care for farmington. It's very cramped. I haven't played the other field so I can't comment on it. However, from what I've been told they are larger than Farmington so I would start there.
I personally prefer the outdoor fields. We have a MILSIM near Hell, MI that's coming up on 3/24. That would be a great place to start assuming you have played other games in the past since it is a MILSIM after all. Also, further out there is another MILSIM towards the west side of the state.
As a friendly side note, please try to use proper grammar and punctuation. It's required on these boards and the Mods strictly enforce it. Your main mistake was not capitalizing... anything really. Check the stickies on the forum rules and no one else will give you a hard time.

Yeah if Sunday March 18th is the only day you can come up to Michigan, chances are the only fields that will be open that day will only be indoor CQB fields like Phoenix Tactical, East Side Airsoft, and possibly CQT (Close Quarters Tactical), but you would have to check the event section and most likely call first to confirm before coming up.
If you can make it up the following Saturday there will be a MILSIM event at a 180+ acre paintball field that's only 25-30 minutes northwest of Ann Arbor, Mi

See miairsoft.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=gotopost&board=eventplanningmain&thread=18777&post=232149 and miairsoft.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=rules&action=display&thread=8089 . Ths is your first warning for violating forum rules.

Farmington has 2 fields. The upstairs one is very close quarters and pretty cramped. Attendance there varies from 5-30 people. Eastside (Warren Field) is fairly consistent playerwise usually around 15-20 players. It's a long field that isn't that wide. It's a great field and you can have a great time. Here is another recent thread about the same thing: miairsoft.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=newb&action=display&thread=42040

Farmington is going to be closed for a while due to renovations.

It always bothers me to hear a cqb place referred to as a "field“. But what else can we call it? Arena? That one bothers me even more.. I have nothing else to complain about.

Thanks for all the great info. I think we have to put BDC on the forum for the eastside airsoft cqb on 3/18. I hope to see some of you there.
