Just a simple question, I have an ACU vest I don't plan on getting rid of for a while, but I have a simple question. What are some colors that match well with ACU? I'd imagine tan...

Tan and ACU. Those are the only ones I can see going well.

Personal hatred of ACU aside.

Tan, Ranger Green.

Khaki also fits amazingly well.

And none of those colors really make sense as pouches attached to an ACU vest. Those colors all work well as vests over an ACU uniform. You really just want ACU pouches to go on that ACU vest you just bought.

It definitely doesn't look good. That said, if it works for you and fits your needs, go for it. Hard to argue with something that works because of color alone.

Seriously though, ACU gear looks best (IMO) with ACU pouches attached to it.

Solid colored gear looks best (IMO) with same colored pouches or perhaps with a smattering of one other color.
