Just wanted to say that this was the most amazing event I have EVER been to. The first half was a little confusing with switching sides all the time but I enjoyed betraying my teammates constantly and it was a little different from the norm. The second half Goldwater had both teams exactly where we wanted them according to how we wanted to fight.......right behind us with our pants around our ankles. Overall I had a great time guys and I hope to come out again.

This was by far the best airsoft event I have ever played at!!!
The weather could not have been better.
Me and my bro had a blast and I'm glad I got his gun fixed so we could go. I would have regretted it immensely if we couldn't go.
All players played awesome, the role players were awesome, the guys that got this event going did an awesome job.
All around a awesome day and a very well put together airsoft event.
P.S. Can the organizers get the final scores up, please? I really want to see what team won!!

I had an amazing time. Although I was on a team with very few Kzoo Crew I had the pleasure of fighting beside the Guys (and Gals) of B.T.R., R.F.A., and the Agents of Khaos on the Gold Water Security team. I plan on running with you guys more in the future! I definitely got into the role of a Private contractor/Mercenary and I felt like the rest of my team did as well.
This game had it all! Betrayals, Negotiations, Alliances, vicious firefights and sneaky backhanded maneuvers (more on the Goldwater Security's part :-P). There were enough main missions and side missions to keep us busy as well as pretty much free reign to do whatever we wanted. The second half seemed a little out of sorts with the multiple King of the Hill style thing going on, but I enjoyed the intense firefights nonetheless.
Some of my favorite moments were betraying the green team to capture Piper, the green team's C.O. with a fake negotiation, backstabbing the Tan team's defenses at the Tiki Hut when our alliance dissolved, Stealing the Villager's Bank money from under their noses (my personal favorite!) and suicide rushing a well fortified Tiki Hut controlled by the Tan team to get 2 sidearm kills and 8 knife kills. I felt dirty after playing on this team, but it was the good evil grin kind of dirty haha!
Overall I'd rate the Mil-Sim a 10/10 for great mission objectives, amazing field, accommodating referees, honorable sportsmanship and some of the best communication between teammates/refs/other teams I have ever seen.
Speaking of communication....I'd like for whoever was spamming the radio on the GWS team to die in a fire for squelching my ear for hours on end.
Thanks to all the teams for being good sports and calling those hits!
Combat rolling his way into your hearts, SPAZ

To everyone involved, thank you for a kick ass day!
Tan team: You guys were bad ass. You accomplished everything we set out to do, you made my second time being a CO a great experience.
Goldwater crew: You guys played your rolls perfectly! I'm glad I got the chance to work with/against you. Team RFA, you are a bunch of BAMFs. 'Nuff Said.
Green Team: Piper, it was great to finally get to meet you, and thanks for the non-stop pressure all day. You and your team did a killer job.
Special shout outs: Mikey our "Sheik" roleplayer. You did an AMAZING JOB! You were an absolute blast to play along side of all day.
The Green team sniper who relentlessly picked off our medics. Seriously dude, I don't know who you were, but you had my team in a rage. Bravo to you sir!
Again, I'd like to thank everyone involved in today's game, I for one had a truly great time.

First off let me say that this was an amazing event with a HUGE turnout. At 260 plus shooters this has to be one of the largest events held in Michigan, with players from Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, and Indiana. I would like to thank everyone that showed up today for our event. It turned out to be an awesome time and thenweather couldn't have been any nicer. I was very impressed with the sportsmanship of all the players. The Fighting Tacos would like to thank Tino and Airsoft of Kalamazoo for co-hosting such a great event with us. I would also like to thank Crazy Cromags for bringing out their duece and all their airsoft stuff. Most importantly all the players that came out to play, it is because of you that we can do this. Without your support we would be nothing.
Thanks, Mopedman
PS - a full review and pictures will be up later this weekend.

I didn't actually get to play since I was reffing, but I had a blast! I was truly impressed by the sportsmanship of all the players there. Everyone was calling their hits and the game ran pretty smooth. Thank you Tino and Mopedman for letting ref with you guys today Next time I'm playing though because that splatmandu's field is absolutely sick! My hat goes off to all you who came and enjoyed this event. You were an amazing group with tremendous amounts of sportsmanship (which made my job as ref that much simpler) and to anyone who missed out on this you don't even realize how much fun this milsim was.

Thank you to everyone who made yesterday possible. It was honestly the most fun I've had since moving to Michigan a year and a half ago, and the most fun I've EVER had playing airsoft. The communication, field, sportsmanship, all of it was top-notch. It was worth every bit of the long drive there and back and I look forward to seeing you all again very soon! I'd suggest using imgur.com for images pertaining to this. You can upload whole albums and view the pictures in their proper size. Photobucket and imageshack are unreliable and shrinks the images down

What can I say besides WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank to all who attended. We definitely set a record and a standard in Michigan, 261 people. You guys (and girls) played with the most honor that I have ever witnessed at an event. There were (literally) only two times I had to resolve a conflict and they were both towards the end of the day when as we all know tempers can start to flare due to exhaustion and irritability. Thank you to Moped Man and the Fighting Tacos. All of you guys are awesome, anytime I needed something done all I had to do was ask and I could consider it done. It was nice to get to know some more of you. Thank you Iron Angels for your superb role playing actions and capabilities. The Road Crew were completely mind blowing. I felt like I was stepping into a different world whenever I ever entered the village. Good job everyone! Thank you Crazy Cromag's for coming up to your first Michigan event. Hope you had a great time and maybe next time you can get some trigger time in. Thanks Dr. Die for the awesome, awesome raffle prizes, it's not everyday that you see a Magpul Masada in a raffle. The MP44 was sick as well. Thank you Ted and Cathy for allowing us to host at your awesome field, it was a pleasure and an honor! Thank you to all the moderators for helping to make this event run as smooth as an event could possibly run in my opinion. I will post final results today. I have a lot of notes and paperwork that I have to dissect in order to figure out the victor. Where to start? ? First, thank you Splatmandu for hosting the largest airsoft event held in Michigan. The owner and staff of Splatmandu are the real deal. I don't know how to put into words how great (yes, I mean Great) you guys are. I drove two hours to attend. It was worth every minute. I can honestly say that I was disappointed when the event had to end. The entire experience went so fast. I was impressed with your field. It was obvious you have spent time and money creating a player friendly course. Thank you!!! Congrats to AoK for organizing an outstanding event. Top notch!!! The event was well ref'd. The maps were helpful. Having the vendors and repair services was well thought out and extremely helpful. I personally had three rifles repaired. Under normal circumstances this would have been a disaster. (Thank you Steve and Crazy Cromags very much....) The raffle and event give aways were another great touch... Those were outstanding prizes. Now to the game: I played on Team Mad and Pagan was our CO. I think we started slow. We were the last team to walk out on the field and Pagan (in my opinion) wasn't given enough time to get squads organized. Mad was also hampered by the fact that most of the team didn't have working comms. We had little radio communications as a team and it cost us points. By contrast, almost everyone on the Contractors team had radios. Despite this, Pagan adapted quickly and got us rolling, especially in the second half. He let us squad up, told us where to go, and got the reinforcements where we needed them. Good job Pagan.... Mad kicked ass, and we rolled over the objectives. As a team, we had good firepower and balance. We needed it. Dealing with the Contractors was, well, lets just call it an experience. One minute they are attacking a position with us, the next, I getting tagged in the ass by them. You guys have a great future as protection for some "Banana Republic" or some other Third World dictator. Contractors, you gave, "I am right behind you" a new meaning. Good job....... Piper, I can really feel for you. I promise I will light Spaz & company up for you at the Airhouse (I have nothing else to say). Better yet, come on down with us & I will assist you as you light him up.... Before I forget: There was a young man on Mad wearing shorts and a white shirt. Don't know your call sign. Just want to say you were a hell of a medic. You have balls and brains. Big time props.... You kept a few assaults rolling.... Thanks. I would also like to mention the team members that executed the text book withdrawl when we were done assaulting the Contractors respawn after lunch. That was excellent teamwork, especially under fire. Thanks to Trae, Lars, Gimpalong, Spade, Trigginometry, and Kargoth. My sons and I enjoyed rolling with you and your buddies. I had good moments with each of you. Spade, also great medic work. I love working with you. Seriously, if you guys can make it to Breedland, we could really raise some hell. Finally, Tino & Munster: Thank you for organizing the event. It was obvious you put the time and effort into it. You made Michigan airsoft history. More than that, approx. 300 person from refs, players, and hopefully vendors had a good time, the chance to meet new people, and great memories. I know it sounds cliche, but everyone there was a winner. One Shot One Miss

So, for those of you who asked "Why don't you have a gun Sparrow?" well the answer is simple. Unfortunately, My G-36k's battery died on me in the first half. I had my glock 19, but no why to carry it on me. Thankfully, Redknight gave me a foam sword, as kinda a late birthday gift, and I figured it would be a total waste to not actually use it. However, despite my endless rushes into fire, I did not get any sword kills hahaha. There was simply NO WAY to get around the endless gunfire. I wouldn't take it back though, I still had an awesome time messin' around with you guys and every death I had was TOTALLY WORTH IT!.

I agree with every one, it was the BEST game I've ever been to. I would love to go to another game like this. I'm speaking for me and the two spectators that came with me. Awesome game!

Wonderful game! I don't know your callsign but, Nick, and the others I met at the game, I'm glad I had the privilege to meet you people. I was apprehensive about people not calling hits or causing trouble in ways but I must say this game was the best example of sportsmanship and proper airsoft I've ever seen. Thank you guys for planning this game and allowing us to play, and thank you players for making the game what it was.
